Head Into Design
In this project, we were asked to
create an infographic wall mural and 2.5D infographic video for Temasek Polytechnic (TP) School of Design.
TP School of Design is the home to aspiring designers. The works were to give prospective students and parents an inside look in the lives of design students.
Taking into consideration of the target audience, the tone of the works were kept casual and light-hearted. In attempt to draw attention and placing emphasis on the reality of student life, photography was chosen as the execution method.
Infographic
Taking in mind the flow of the information, rhythm and harmony was uterlized in the layout. In addition, layout brings the viewer’s eyes across the mural. The size of the mural was 210cm (W) x 57.5cm (H).
Video
With efforts to capture the attention of the viewers, the audio was synchronised to the explosion of objects. The 3D technique was utilised to give a sense of dept and space to the objects. Taking in mind the legibility of moving copy,full uppercase Avenir Black was chosen as the font.
